November curlBOX: Paul Mitchell Curls

The Product Junkie in me is filled with excitement about my November curlBOX.  This is my first shipment from the curlBOX subscription service.  I have previously ordered some products that were not included in their monthly subscription.  To read about that experience click HERE. The November box featured products from PAUL MITCHELL. Box Breakdown 

The products came wrapped in hot pink tissue paper and was placed in the signature black box with gold and pink lettering.  Included inside:

• Paul Mitchell curls- Spring Loaded Frizz-Fighting Shampoo.  This is a pretty small bottle with only 2.5 fl. oz.

• Paul Mitchell curls- Spring Loaded Frizz-Fighting Conditioner.  The conditioner is much larger than the shampoo with 6.8 fl. oz.

• Paul Mitchell expressstyle- Round Trip. This is a liquid curl definer and it has a pump attachment.  The appearance of this product is like a liquified gel/serum. The size of this product is 6.8 fl. oz.

• Paul Mitchell flexiblestyle - Sculpting foam.  This product is like wrapping foam or mousse. This product contains 6.7 fl oz.

• Paul Mitchell awapuhi - MirrorSmooth High Gloss Primer.  The High Gloss Primer can be used before applying heat tools such as flat irons.  It is meant to add protection against heat damage and also add shine to your hair. This primer has 0.85 fl oz.

First Impressions

I am excited to try some high quality salon products at a very reasonable price.  Thanks to curlBOX, I was able to receive some higher-end products (5 products!!!) for only $20.

I must note that the shampoo, conditioner, and sculpting foam has alcohol listed as one of the ingredients😞  Sad, I know... but I will still try it.

The products all have a pleasant smell; the Sculpting Foam has the aroma of coconut... I'm a sucker for smell-good hair products.  I will try all of the products, but I'm hypothesize that I will only keep the Round Trip and MirrorSmooth in rotation.
