New Year, New Products

With 2017 in full effect, I thought this would be the perfect time to introduce you all to some new products that have quickly become my NEW FAVES. As many of you already know, I'm a sucker for hair products and so I am always experimenting and often times wasting money on the latest product to hit shelves.  I have made every effort to limit how much money I spend IN STORES on hair products, and have forced myself to stick only to trying the products that arrive in my monthly curlBOX.  Check out this post for more information on this service that I use. 

Listed below are some of my favorite products that I have received from curlBOX. 

BABASSU OIL Mint Deep Conditioner  by Mielle Organics


This deep conditioner smells great and feels even better as you massage it throughout your hair.  It has a tingling sensation and will have your feeling soft. I also really like the fact that this product was created by Monique Rodriguez, a women of color.  I'm all about uplifting and promoting female entrepreneurs.


Coconut Shea All Natural Cleansing CoWash by Eden BodyWorks


 I stopped using "CoWash" products after I started to realize that the product I was using left my hair feeling dry and dull.  I decided to give this cleansing CoWash a try after receiving it my subscription box.  Man oh Man, I am so glad that I tried it.  My hair felt clean and light.  This product also allowed me to detangle my hair with great ease.  I am now hooked on this product!

Shea Yogurt Hair Moisturizer by Alikay Naturals


O...M...G! I honestly feel like I have found the holy grail of natural hair products.  I absolutely love this product. It smells amazing...it is reminiscent of the candy, starbursts. The "yellow-whipped" yogurt comes in a tiny 4oz jar but it packs a powerful punch. My hair has never felt more moisturized and my curls were popping after applying the Shea Yogurt.  This product also helped to moisturize and tame my daughter's 4C hair... so it is definitely a winner in my house.  If your hair is suffering from a lack of moisture, you should definitely incorporate this product into your regiment.

    I have heard great things about the Mielle products. Have you tried any of her other products?

      Keisha, the deep conditioner was the first and only product that I have used by Mielle Organics. Now that I have tried this, I am definitely open to using other products in the line.
